About Us

Evolve Pig Health was formed in 2018 with the aim of providing a customer-focused veterinary service to commercial pig farmers nationwide. We offer the full range of services from advisory site visits to training courses for unit staff. We also provide all of the paperwork required to ensure your unit is compliant with the veterinary specific sections of your assurance bodies requirements. This includes the creation of veterinary health plans and preventative medicine schedules.

We service all sizes of commercial system, including both indoor and outdoor units, single site and integrated systems.  We are able to support Red Tractor and RSPCA Freedom Foods assured businesses as well as still providing vital assistance to non-assured enterprises.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer services to non-commercial or back yard pig keepers.

Meet the Team

Tom Iveson BVMedSci(hons) BVM BVS(hons) MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon and Managing Director
Tom Iveson qualified from the University of Nottingham in 2011 with honours. Since then he has always worked with production animals. In April 2015, he decided to focus exclusively on pigs. Tom formed Evolve Pig Health in 2018 in order to provide an independent, personal and high-quality service to farmers. 

Tom is specifically interested in the review and refinement of management strategies with the aim of improving health, welfare and ultimately productivity. He feels that this approach often offers the most economically sound method for tackling problems encountered on farm. 

Sam Northing MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon


Sam joined the practice in 2019 after graduating from the University of Nottingham. He has a keen interest in pig health and management.

Hannah Loader MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon


Hannah joined the practice at the start of 2023.. She qualified in New Zealand in 2017 and moved to the UK to work as a large animal vet. During this time she started working with farrow to finish farms as well as integrators. Hannah is now focussing solely on pigs and is particularly interested in using preventive medicine and herd health planning to improve health and productivity on farm.

Joana Ceia MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon


Joana joined the practice in 2023 after relocating from Portugal. She qualified from Lisbon University in 2012 and has since pursued a career in pig medicine. She is currently completeing a residency in Porcine Health Management alongside her clinical work. 

Kiri Willis

Veterinary Pharmaceutical Dispensing & Distribution Technician


Kiri joined the team in 2021. Her role is primarily within the logistics team - managing stock and picking, packing and shipping products.

Danny Jones

Veterinary Pharmaceutical Dispensing & Distribution Technician


Danny re-joined the team in 2022. His role is primarily within the logistics team - managing stock and picking, packing and shipping products. He may also be occasionally seen out on the road delivering product to farm.

Simon Woodcock

Delivery and Logistics Technician


Simon joined the team in 2022. He works in a split role - sometimes delivering product to farm but also working as an assistant to the logistics team in the office.
